UFI Team Joins Hiester Cares 5K to Support Suicide Prevention in the Construction Industry

On November 15th, 2025, our United Forming Inc Family proudly participated in the Hiester Cares Foundation 5K Run & Walk benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention near Raleigh, NC. This event means a lot to us, not only because it supports an incredible organization, but also because it shines a light on an issue that deeply affects our industry.

The construction industry continues to face one of the highest suicide rates across all occupational groups. It’s a reality we cannot ignore, and one that calls for awareness, compassion, and action.

Events like this 5K make a difference in ways that go far beyond fundraising — they create space for connection, understanding, and hope, opening the door for conversations that too often go unspoken in our industry. By showing up, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering a culture where mental health is prioritized, stigma is actively challenged, and support is available long before a crisis occurs.

Every step taken that day symbolized our dedication to looking out for one another and ensuring that our teams feel valued, supported, and safe both on and off the jobsite.
