United Forming Hosts Jobsite Field Trip for Cummings High School Students
The United Forming, Inc. Raleigh Team was excited to welcome students from Cummings High School to our NCEC project site for a special field trip experience. Hosting 30 students on an active jobsite and introducing them to careers in the skilled trades is a meaningful way for us to give back to our community and help inspire the next generation of builders.
Experiences like this field trip provide students with valuable insight into real-world career paths they may not otherwise encounter. Seeing a project in progress, speaking with industry professionals, and learning how classroom skills translate into hands-on work can spark interest and confidence in pursuing careers in construction, engineering, and project management —while highlighting the many opportunities the industry has to offer.
A special thank you to the Balfour Beatty US/Metcon, Inc. JV partners for joining us and helping make this such an engaging and memorable experience for the students. Investing in the next generation starts with opening our doors and sharing what we do best.
