Employee Spotlight

Ivan originally joined UFI back in May of 2014 as a groundman. His skills rigging/flagging cranes and operating forklifts quickly earned him a solid reputation for keeping his assigned projects running smoothly.

In time, he familiarized himself with material/equipment names, nicknames and sizes; earning the respect of all of the foremen/superintendents he worked alongside over the years.

Ivan stepped away from United Forming for a couple of years, working as a third party for a local testing agency. As the years passed, many of the foreman he worked with developed into Assistant Superintendents and Superintendents. Also, United Forming invested in a Yard/Office in Waxahachie. Shorty reached out to Ivan in late 2022, and Ivan decided to rejoin United Forming in February 2023.

This past year has played out just like the good old days! The only difference is Ivan is using his experience and insights to load/unload trucks worth of material/equipment to keep projects rolling throughout DFW (and beyond). The relationships he developed with his peers in the past have paid dividends ensuring priority trips are being handled in a timely manner and everyone is treated fairly and with respect.

Yard Superintendents are becoming more and more technical in nature. We are proud of Ivan and the ownership he has taken of his role and responsibilities. Keep up the great work, Ivan!
