Formwork Design

As a self-performing concrete structure builder, one of United Forming’s most celebrated core competencies is our professional engineering capabilities. Registered engineers supervise and prepare all formwork, shoring, and reshoring designs. Formwork and shoring shop drawings are produced in-house using state of the art computer-aided design (CAD) systems. 

Although we do not provide engineering services to the public for hire, our engineering capabilities extend well beyond formwork and shoring design. For example, our in-house engineers regularly design and/or specify many of the supplementary products and systems used by United Forming crews during the construction process. 

These engineered components range from simple lateral bracing elements to complex material movement and handling devices.
